CLINIC ADMINISTRATION
The Parkinson Center was founded in 1995 in Leun-Biskirchen.
The center currently consists of three units:
The Gertrudis Clinic in Biskirchen is a privately owned neurological hospital specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease and related conditions. As a recognized acute care hospital (Section 108 of the German Social Code Book 5 - Approved Hospitals), contracts are in place with all statutory health insurance providers. The clinic has 121 acute care beds.
The Gertrudis Private Clinic was founded in 2002 due to the high demand for beds. This clinic also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease and related conditions and cooperates with the Parkinson's Center. It can treat privately insured patients, those eligible for benefits, and self-pay patients. This clinic has 20 beds.
The Parkinson Special Ambulance serves as a contact point for patients with suspected or already diagnosed Parkinson's disease or other movement disorders (including essential tremor and restless legs syndrome). It is intended as a complementary or supportive service alongside the care provided by local specialists.
REAL ESTATE
Krichenbaum Immobilienverwaltung, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Leun, Germany, and registered with the Commercial Register of Wetzlar (HRB 7683), is a regionally established real estate holding company focusing on the development, ownership, as well as the management and leasing of its own residential properties, residential buildings, and apartments. The company combines traditional real estate expertise with modern standards in architecture, sustainability, and service.
The portfolio includes both existing properties and new development projects that are planned, realized, and managed over the long term. Successfully completed investments include, among others, ERK’s Quartier in Wetzlar, Green Living in Niederweimar, Dahlia in Burgsolms, and Kanon in Nauborn. The Palas AnasToria project in Braunfels is currently under construction. Through these activities, the company makes an active contribution to the creation of attractive and modern living spaces in Central Hesse.
FAMILY-OFFICE
The Krichenbaum Family-Office is the central entity responsible for the asset management of the Krichenbaum Group. It focuses on the long-term structuring and optimization of assets such as equities, securities, and investment funds. As part of a diversified corporate group with business activities in healthcare, real estate, and trading, the Family Office ensures a strategic and sustainable alignment of the overall assets and strengthens long-term financial stability.
OBJECT FURNISHING
G. Krichenbaum Objekteinrichtung specializes in the high-quality furnishing of commercial and institutional spaces. With a strong focus on design, functionality, and tailor-made solutions, the company provides furniture, interior concepts, and decorative elements that create efficient, stylish, and inspiring environments. Through close collaboration with leading brands, customized furnishing solutions are developed that are functional, aesthetically refined, and individually tailored to each space.
